Show GIVE CREDIT TO DRAFTED MEN. Senators Discuss Cases of Men Rejected Reject-ed and Afterward Sent to Camps. Washington. The question of obtaining ob-taining credit for drafted men who had once shown their patriotism by offering of-fering to volunteer was brought to the j attention of the senate Monday. Sev-i Sev-i eral senators expressed the opinion that such men who are now enrolled in the national army should be permitted permit-ted to join volunteer organizations. Senator Sterling of South Daxoia offered of-fered a resolution inquiring of the secretary sec-retary of war whether it would lie possible pos-sible to make such transfers of men I without impairing the service. The inquiry in-quiry affect hundreds of men who j were rejected on medical grounds when ; they attempted to enlist, but were subsequently sub-sequently accepted as fit when sum- moned by the draft.
