Show Miss Esther Jensen returned Saturday Sat-urday from a two year's mission to the Central States. She is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jalbez Fauz at Moroni. She is a daughter of Christian Chris-tian Jensen, formerly of Moroni, but now of Manassa, Colorado. Miss Jensen Jen-sen will spend about three weeks in Moroni. Councilman John G undersoil and son, Douglas are spending a week or more at Price. J. W. Cherry is home from Salt Lake City where he spent the most of the week. Jesse Reynolds returned last week fronv Idaho where he was called on account of the death of his brother Fritz. Laban Gunderson and Arthur Clark are home from the University this week. Word is received of the death of Dr. Layfaette Reese Tuesday at Af-ton, Af-ton, Wyoming. Dr. Reese was a victim of the Spanish Influenza. He is the son of T. D. Reese of Wales, Utah. Douglas Gunderson came home last Monday from Thatcher, Box Elder county, where is is teaching school. Mr. and Mrs. Will Rasmussen have returned from Garfield, and have the misfortune of being ill with the Influenza In-fluenza at the home of A. S. Jensen in this city. Miss Rhoda Olsen and Miss Eula Jorgensen came home from Nephi, where they have been teaching. They will remain here while the Influenza is spreading. Miss Marjorie Winters is home from Provo. Miss Adeline Brand returned from Sevier county to remain while the schools are closed. Miss Verda Rasmiifseti returned home this week from Elsinore, wherp she is teaching school. |
