Show FAIRVIEW Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Dickson were ' guests of honor at a wedding reception recep-tion given by Mr. Dickson's parents at the Richville gymnasium, September Septem-ber 8th. Supper was served to 150 guests and the public joined later iu the dance. The supper room was beautifully decorated in autumn flowers and festoons of pink and yellow. yel-low. The bride was gowned in white baronette satin trimmed with lace and touches of pink satin. An orchestra or-chestra from Ogden furnished the music. The presents were many and beautiful. Both of the young people are graduates of the B. ". Cnlversitj and are both talented musicians. Mrs. Dickson was formerly Miss Laurel Miner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. U. Miner of Fairview. They leave shortly for Driggs, Idaho, where Mr. Dickson takes charge of the musical department in Driggs High School. Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson of Salt Lake City were guests at the home of Walter Cox last week. Miss Gladys Graham left Sunday for Elsinore where she will teach in the public schools. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tucker are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Tucker this week. Mrs. Alton Pearson of Garfield is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Mower. Mrs. Oscar Norman and daughters, Josie and Nelda have returned from a month's visit with relatives at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Christensen accompanied their daughter, Alice to Salt Lake City last week where she will attend High School the coming winter. ' Mr. A. R. Anderson and daughter. ' Ora motored to Salt Lake City last week. Miss Ora will attend the ' L. D. S. University the coming winter About forty beehive girls and Mutual officers attended the M. I. A. rally held at Moroni last week. They went on hayracks. A very excellent time was enjoyed. Miss Genevieve Parry of Richfield Miss Luella Daynes of Logan and Mr. Backman of Sandy are new teachers teach-ers -engaged in the Fairview High School. The tenth grade has been added to the school this year. Mr. and Mrs. James Scott Bills are visiting with Mr. and Mr3. oamuei ciiis mis weeK. A baby boy was welcomed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Swen-son Swen-son last week. Bishop and Mrs. James T. Peterson of Oakville announce the engagement of their daughter, Agnes to Lewis Terry. The marriage will take place in the Manti Temple September 20th. A very pretty wedding reception was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Mower in honor of the marriage of Miss Melba Mower and Ernest Poulson. The rooms were bright with fall flowers. A four course dinner was served to about thirty guests. A number of handsome hand-some and useful presents were given. The party included a number of Mt. Pleasant friends and relatives. An outing trip in the fields and' a chicken supper was enjoyed by the following. Q.
