Show SPRING CITY Earl and Jisse iiillington of Ring- ham are here for a few days' visit. E. Carlsen, W. Schofic-ld and C. H. Strate are among the Suit Lake visitors vis-itors this week. N. Iiilliugton is spending a few days visiting with relatives at Eureka. Eur-eka. .Mrs. Het man llermunsen and mother are visiting in Provo for a few days. Born, July 2, to the wile of Fred Strate, a baby boy. All concerned doing nicely. i Mrs. Olive Acord arrived home the latter part of hist week after a most enjoyable trip into Arizona via the Grand Canyon. Mrs. Nen.i Justesen departed for Provo Sunday, where she will visit for a short time with her daughter, Mrs. J. Carl Allred. Evan Wilson and family of Gunnison Gunni-son have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Childs of Chester, they returned re-turned to their home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. John Bunnel of Eureka are here visiting with relatives. rel-atives. Mrs. J. A. Noonan departed for San Francisco the fore part of the week, where she goes to join her husband, who has accepted a position posi-tion with the Southern Pacific railway. rail-way. ,The Fourth of July was quietly but enjoyably spent in Spring City. All of the sports which had been arranged ar-ranged for were carried out in a most enjoyable manner. The afternoon ball game was won by the single men by a score of 12 to 10. The game between be-tween the lady teams was won by the juniors. Ali of the sports were pulled pull-ed off at the City ParK wnere ladies of the Black Hawk Indian War Veterans Vet-erans club sold refreshments to obtain ob-tain money for park improvements. The meeting held at the tabernacle in the forenoon was well attended and appreciated. The only accident of the day wras a runaway. The hack team of J. G. Schofield were frightened when a trunk was knocked knock-ed off from the front end of the hack while turning on Main street near the residence of Wilford Schofield. Isaac Nelson of Wales was the only person to receive injuries, being cut j the head and hand and suffering some bruises. The hack was very badly damaged, it being tipped over in the accident.
