Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MOUNT PLEASANT WOMAN; I Mrs. Mary Heneretta Neilson Succumbs To Heart Failure In Salt Lake. City. Funeral services were held Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at one o'clock for Mrs. Mary Henretta Neilson, wife of Olef Neilson of this city. Mrs. Neilson died Monday, Feb. 9th in Salt Lake City, after an illness ill-ness of pneumonia and heart .'trouble. The body was brought here "Wednesday afternoon for burial in the Mount Pleasant (Cemetery. The services were conducted at the family home in this city. Bishop H. C. Jacobs was in charge of the obsequies. The North Ward choir ya.s present and sang "Resting Now From Care and Sorrow." The open-.ing open-.ing prayer was offered by Elder Thomas West. The choir sang f'Jesus Lover of My Soul" and a mixed quartet was given by Wilford Hafen, Emil Hafen, Miss Elida Staker and Miss Pauline Olsen. The speakers were Bishop James Larsen, and President A. Merz. After the closing song Elder F. D. 'White offered the benediction. Bishop H. C. Jacobs dedicated the grave at the Cemetery. Mrs. Neilson was born at Copenhagen, Copen-hagen, Denmark, February 24, 1865. ;She came here when she was but three years of age, with her parents, Christensen H. Halversori and Maria Fredrickson. They made their home in Mount Pleasant where in latter years she married Olef Neilson. Neil-son. Nearly all her life was spent in Mount Pleasant, until the last few years she has lived at Salt Lake City with her children. Besides her husband she is survived sur-vived by one brother, Henry Halver-son Halver-son of Gunnison, and four 6ons, Arthur O. Neilson of Mt. Pleasant, Roy C. Neilson of Ogden, Clifford Neilson and Earl Neilson of Salt Lake City, and two daughters, Miss Grace Neilson, and Mrs. Ruby Johnson John-son of Salt Lake City. Many beautiful flowers were given by friends in Salt Lake City; and Mount. Pleasant. All the members of the family were here to attend the funeral. |
