A five course dinner din-ner was served to twenty-eight guests who also enjoyed the evening ' in music and song. S. of Utai paid an official visit to Ivy-Chapter Ivy-Chapter No. 10, O. E. S. Monday evening and was tile guest of honor at an elaborate cafeteria luncheon served after the business by Mes-tlaraes Mes-tlaraes J. Morgan Johnson, A. L. Nil-son, Nil-son, H. Guy Wood, J. D. Meyrick, B. F. Lovell, G. W. Brand and E. L. Underhill. Twenty five members were present. While in Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant Mrs. Whittemore was a guest at the home of Mrs. A. Crane. Miss Pearl Olsen entertained a party of girls Saturday eveninfj at a "Pajama Party' An elaborat; dinner din-ner preceded the evenings pleasures which lasted until past midnight. Bennett, Reading from the Sanpete History Mrs. Martin Brothersen also relating some of her early recollections of In. i dian troubles. The club sang America in conclusion, after which luncheon was served. Thursday afternoon the Twentieth Century club met at the home of Mrs. George Madsen. Miss Margaret Cand-land Cand-land concluded the reading of Maeterlinck's Maeter-linck's "The Blue Bird." Miss Edda Mae Gibson contributed an excellent paper "Longfellow's True Place in American Literature" and sang "The Arrow and the Song," and "The Bridge." The members responded to roll call with quotations from Longfellow. Long-fellow. The following new officers were elected for the coming year: president, Mrs. J. P.
