Show FAIRVIEW. Mr. and Mrs. Eli Taylor and son, Frank, of Salem were Fair:-iev visitors visit-ors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Zabrijkie of Springville are spending ;h3 week with friends and relatives. Miss Cleo'n, Lassen, who attended summer school at the U. of U., has returned home. Mrs. H. S. (dsen was : Provo yisitor-tke fore lart of the. weokr '- Mrs. Hannah Trumbo of Silt Lake City was the guest of Mrs Dora Raw-linson Raw-linson last week. Mrs. Emanuel Allred of Idaho is a guest at the home of her mother, Mrs. Andrew Lassen. Mrs. Joe Williams left Sunday for Cheyenne, Wyo., where she .goes to meet her husband, who is returning from the army after more than two years service. They will visit relatives re-latives at Denver before returning home. Mrs. Arthur M. Stewart went to Salt Lake City last week to meet her husband who recently returned .from France. He has been in the service one year, eight months of which he spent in France. Francis E. Rigby returned home last Sunday after being discharged from the army. Mr. Rigby has been in the service longer than any other Fairview man, havihg been a member mem-ber of Co. D, N. G. U. and also of Troop E on the Mexican border. After Af-ter returning from the border he enlisted en-listed with the Utah Artillery shortly Jitter war was declared. He spent some time in the training camps before going to France where he was engaged in some of the most fierce fighting of the war. Since the Armistice Arm-istice was signed he has been in the Army of Occupation in Germany. Jesse Cheney was a guest at the home of his father, William Cheney. He is also a soldier who has lately returned from France. Mrs. Ira White, who spent the past six weeks visiting with hc-r mother, returned to her home, at Richfield last week. Miss Varda Petersen is viniting at Richfield. ' Miss Fay Miner spent thy week visiting at Spring City. Mrs. Thomas Anderson and sou. Lavar, of Burnt Fork, Wyomnig are 1 visiting relatives in Fairview. Lavar has recently returned from France, ' having been in the service for one year. Last Sunday evening the following 1 enjoyed a splendid chicksen dinner at the home of Miss Melba Mower: Josie Norman, Mirl Hurst. Anna oar-sen. oar-sen. May Sanderson. Welda Mower and Melba Mower. After supper they all went to the home of Anna Lar-sen Lar-sen and had a slumber party. The Misses Annabelle and Ciista Pritchett went to Salt Lake City this iweek to attend the weddin? reception recep-tion of their -brother William Pritchett and Miss Josie Olson of Salt Lake City were maTi-d in Salt Lake August 6th. Mr. Pritchett Prit-chett has lately built a new bungalow ' and they will make the.- i.ome i:i Salt Lake City. Miss Alta Miner and Dr. Charles Smith of Provo were nii."!oi! last week.
