Show COMMITTEES HUSTLING 1 If IlC CHEIMTI; PROGRAM IS PARTLY OUTLINED Commutes have been busy all week preparing for the great, celebration celebra-tion Mount Pleasant is offering in honor of the returned soldiers, sail-: sail-: ors and marines on August 21, 22, and 23. It will be one of the grandest grand-est events ever held in this city. All soldiers, sailors and marines will be welcome to our beautiful ciiy. The soldiers, sailors and marines will be honor guasts of Mount Tleas-.nt Tleas-.nt and will, with their ladies be admitted free of charge to the baluquet, ball game, races, shows and dances. The city will be appropriately decorated de-corated for the occasion. Concessions for Doll Racks, Merry-go-round, shooting gallery, etc. will be sold by the City. The City, also will control the rights for confectionery confec-tionery stand at the City Park. Printed programs will be issued for each day, or for all three days audi events will be staged as announced, an-nounced, on- time. There will be plenty of music from morning till night and from night until morning again, state.; the committee. All stores will close daiiy at four o'clock p. m. A - meeting was held at the City Hall Tuesday evening, August 5th. with John Gunderson presiding. There were present of the decoration decora-tion committee V. L. Johnson, ). Joy Harney, L. H.
