Show TESTIMONIALS GIVEN FOR PROFESSOR L. T. THOMPSON Prof, and Mrs. L. T. Thompson, Mrs. A. Merz, and Mrs. Emil Reutis-hauser Reutis-hauser motored to Ephraim Saturday Satur-day evening and attended the farewell fare-well testimonial given in honor of Mr. Thompson by the members of the tabernacle choir and friends at -the home of Mrs. C. H. Thompson. Ninty guests were present and enjoyed enjoy-ed the program of music, the games and dancing on the lawn which was 'beautifully lighted with electric j lights. Delicious refreshments were I served and a beautiful leather traveling travel-ing bag was presented to the guest of honor. A number of town guests were present. A testimonial was also given for Prof. Thompson, by officers of the (organizations of the Ephraim South ' ward and a substantial purse was I presented to him. Mr. Thompson has been instructor in the Snow Normal College and leader of the tabernacle choir for a number of years. He has labored in the Sunday School, the M. I. A., the Elders Quorum, and was ward chorister. A number of dinners were given jin honor of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson before their departure for Mount Pleasant where Mrs. Thompson will, make her home during the absence ,of her husband who left last week for the Northern States Mission. Jacob Thompson, Miss Agnes Thompson, . Mrs. Phen,or Peterscnn, Mrs. Blanche T. Bailey and Miss jLucile Bailey of Ephraim motored to Mount Pleasant last week and visited with President and Mrs. A. Merz. |
