Show 'SANPETE DECLARES I RABIES QUARANTINE Upon request, of the commissioners of Sanpete county a rabies quarantine quaran-tine is to be established in the northern north-ern end of that political subdivision, probably extending from the southern south-ern part of Fairview northward to Indianola. Ravages of one dog are reported to be responsible for this anticipated action after an Investigation made by Dr. R. W. Iloggan, state livestock inspector. in-spector. The animal, said to have been afflicted with rabies, ran amuck and bit a large number of other animals an-imals in a section of the valley about twenty miles square, starting at Birch creek, near Fairview. T. J. Morley, clerk of Sanpete county, coun-ty, urges the. state officials to take ; immediate action to protect livestock in that" section, as he says reports continue con-tinue to reach him that many animals are affected with rabies. |
