Show The Home Culture Club met Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. G. W. Brand. The important subject on the day's program was a lecture by Dr. 0. Sundwall, "Tuberculosis, "Tu-berculosis, Its Prevention and Treatment." Treat-ment." This was followed by several nwisical numbers after which luncheon was served. Mrs. A. V. Boand entertained the ijirls of Westminster Circle at a kensington at her home Tuesday afternoon. The Butterfly Swarm of Beehive : GjVrls, entertained Monday evening ' with a progressive dinner in honor of their bijskeepers, Miss Christie Clark, Miss La Von Lund and Miss 'Helen Hansen. Dinner was served in courses, first at Miss Alice Hansen's, Han-sen's, second at Miss Fredrikka Chipman's, third at Miss Arias Simpson's and the last at Miss De-vonia De-vonia Anderson's, where the remainder re-mainder of the evening was spent in games and dancing. Mrs. E. W. Wall entertained several sever-al friends informally Tuesday afternoon after-noon complimentary to Mrs. Francis M. Pannetier of Salt Lake. Yell master, Dwight Candland of the North Sanpete High School began drilling the student body in assembly Wednesday morning preparatory for the first football game Friday. Prof. A. H. 'Anderson, of the North Sanpete Seminary, gave an address "The Success of the Work" and musical selections were rendered by the High School orchestra, Miss Af-ton Af-ton Argyle, the Glee Club, Miss Audrey Neilson, and Miss Mary Cherry. ' The O. S. A. Club will meet next Friday afternoon with Mra. William L. Madaen. The Philolexion Literary Society presented the first of this year's pro grams in chapel exercises at Wasatch Academy this morning. Leslie Co-'fer, Co-'fer, president of the student body, was in charge and the following program pro-gram was rendered: Selection, "Soldiers' "Sol-diers' Chorus" from Faust, Undent body; string trio, popular airs, James Ruggeri, Joseph Perry and Russell Goodman; essay "Edgar A. Guest," Carlyle Christian;" reading, "Ma's Check Book," Auburn Stark; "Current "Cur-rent Events," Ernest Flaim; reading "Little Jacob Strauss," Wells Mur-dock; Mur-dock; critic's report.
