Show ALL CLOCKS GAIN 1UH OHMAIICH 30 Xation Under l):iylif;!it. Saving Summer Sum-mer Time Until Xexl October. Every clock in Utah is to be turned ahead one hour at 2 a. m. on Sunday, March 30, known as the daylight saving act, providing mat every timepiece time-piece in the United States be advanced advanc-ed one hour on the last Sunday in March and retarded one hour beginning be-ginning at 2 a. m. the last Sunday in October. This act was not a war measure, as many supposed, and it is to be effective every year until Congress repeals the law. Practically no mention men-tion has been made of the matter this year, and it has generally escaped es-caped public attention. The railroads are preparing for the change, and have prepared printed print-ed bulletins for distribution a few days before it becoiipes effective. It is important that every employee of the railroads, from the red cap at the station- to the president of the road, change his watch 'at the same time, otherwise an endless chain of confusion will arise. No delay will be experienced by any train during the change, and it will not be necessary neces-sary to revise any time tables. |
