Show HOME FROM CAMP LEWIS. Willis Tidwell. son of Mrs. John F. Tidwell of this city, returned home last Tuesday, March 25th, from Camp Lewis. Washington, where he has spent the past seven months in the service of his country. Mr. Tidwell Tid-well left Mount Pleasant on August 20, 1918. lie was a member of the Headquarters company of the First United' States Infantry, and was engaged en-gaged in radio work. He became quite expert with the wireless ma-and ma-and was selected to atten.d an officers training school in December, but the signing of the Armistice in November prevented his entering this school. For the past six weeks Mr. Tidwell has been doin,? office work at regimental headquarters. |
