Show MAMMOTH DAM miljtt REBUILT The formation of an irrigation district dis-trict to comprise all the water users of Price river valley has been discussed discus-sed for some time and was brought to a head at the annual meeting of the carbon Water, Land and Power Company last Monday afternoon. H. G. Mathis, L. E. Whitmore and J. F. Pace were named as a committee to (go into the matter and arrange for a meeting of all those interested. Such meeting will probably be held within the next ten days and will be addressed by the author of the bill providing for the formation of such districts and by some other irrigation authorities. Re-building the Mammoth reservoir reser-voir was discussed fully but it was decided to postpone action pending the results of the meeting referred to above. It is the desire of many of the largest stockholders in the Carbon Car-bon Water, Land and Water Company Com-pany to build the foundation of the dam this summer but it may be best to leave the other work until 1921 as contractors predict that labor and material will be cheaper. Should the irrigation district be formed, it is probable that work on the dam will be begun at once. The old officers of the Carbon Water, Wa-ter, Land and Power Company were relected and the report of C. R. Mar-cusen, Mar-cusen, secretary-treasurer was accepted. ac-cepted. The old Mammoth resvoir will be 'used only until the Pleasant Valley projects is put through and then it will be sold to Sanpete County water users who have a standing offer of enough to pay off the debts of the local company.
