Show JUDGE Hi RAD BUSY TRIP IN SOUTH END OF THE COUNTY N Judge Arthur O. Neilson of the Juvinile Court was called to Gunnison Gunni-son last week to hear a number of Juvinile cases. Thirteen boys were brought Into court for damaging a new automobile. The Judge imposed im-posed a fine of $5 on each one and instructed them to pay the dama(ge, which amounted to $75. Three minors were fined for usinig tobacco. One merchant of Centerfield was apprehended and brought into court for selling tobacco to minors and permitting them to play pool in his place of business. The Court imposed a heavy fine upon him. Mr. Neilson informs us that the mayors and town councils as well as the parents, the clubs and various church organizations are manifesting manifest-ing a splendid spirit of co-operation with the Juvinile Court for the betterment bet-terment of moral conditions throughout through-out the district. He states that one of the most prevalent evils with the young men, is their use of tobacco. The Judge gives warning mat those guilty of this offense when apprehended ap-prehended and brought before him, can expect a fine The Culprit who. is guilty of des-pensing des-pensing the obvioxious weed to minors, when arrested can expect no leniency.
