Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Kellar Stringham of Imbler, Oregon, Ore-gon, is visiting at the home of Mr, and Mrs. J. W. Cherry. Mrs. George Madsen, Mrs. R. L. Madsen and Miss Hilda Madsen will entertain the ladies of the Twentieth Century club next week. Mrs. August Lundberg returned to her home Tuesday after six weeks at the L. D. S. hospital where she underwent two operations. Miss Helen Larsen was hostess to the S. G. club Monday evening. Her guests were Winona Cherry, Ruth Monsen, Margaret Johnson, Marjorie Winters and Ruth Candland. Brigham Scovil of Raymond, Alta, Canada was the guest of his brother, Amasa Scovil and other relatives in Mount Pleasant during the week. He left Thursday for Spanish Fork where he will visit a short time. Mrs. K. LeRoy Barton returned the first of the 'week from Spanish Fork where she has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. McKell. She had her little children, chil-dren, Rex and Donna with her. Francis Neilson entertained at a sleighing party followed by an elaborate elabor-ate course dinner Thursday evening in honor of his birthday anniversary. His guests were Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Neilson, Harold Whittaker, Justus Seely, Bert Peterson, Bruce Madsen, Shirley Christensen, Miss Eva Simpson, Simp-son, Miss Arclee Barnett, Miss Addie Anderson, Miss Beatrice Neilson, Miss Gladys Ericksen, Miss Velma Tidwell, Miss Kate. Ericksen and Miss Goldie Neibjom. Mr. and Mrs. Nils Larsen were tendered a very pleasant surprise Saturday evening, at their new home, by the O. S. A. club ladies and their partners. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Nils Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Drage, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. R. McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph lion-sen, lion-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stansfield, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Monsen, Mr. and Mrs. John Stansfield, Miss Selma Jensen Jen-sen and Miss Nellie Norris. |
