Show MKS. CELIA JENSEN THAYNE, AFTER LONti ILLNESS PASSES AWAY Orangeville, Dec. 10. After a long , illness, Mrs. Celia Jensen Thayne died at her home here Dec. 4, sui rounded by all her children and many relatives and friends. The funeral ' took place Dec. 7. Many consoling words were spoken and the choir rendered appropriate selections. The hall was nicely decorated with pot plants and' the casket was covered with boquets of beautiful flowers bestowed be-stowed by loving hands. Mrs. Thayne was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah, July 5, 1862 and was married to Joseph Thayne in the St. George Temple, Feb. 14, 1879. She had nine children, and with the exception of a daughter who died several years ago, all survive her; five boys and three girls. Mrs. Thayne has been a widow for many years, her husband having died in 1901. They moved to Orangeville in 1892. She was an energetic woman and for a time was, counselor to the president presi-dent of the Relief society. |
