Show SOCIAL EVENTS A pretty and enjoyable affair of last Saturday afternoon was the Autumn play Party given by Mrs. C. W. Sorensrcu to her son, Clayton and a number of his little boy anil girl friends. The afternoon was delightfully de-lightfully spent in different amusing games. A tasty luncheon was enjoyed en-joyed by about twenty six of the youngsters. The W. C. T. U. and Mothers were entertained at the home of Mrs. H. C. Beaumann on Friday last. Mrs. F. C. Jensen who was a delegate to the state convention gave an interesting interest-ing report of its sessions and gave the lesson on "Making of a Man." The prohibition situation in the coming election was discussed and a committee com-mittee was appointed to confer with nominees for the State Legislature as to what their stand will be on the prohibition question. Cleon Poulsen and Erma Chris-'.ensen Chris-'.ensen both of this city were married at Manti Wednesday, October 2S, "914. The young couple went to .Manti in Ed Johnston's automobile nd were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Austin Monsen. In the evening i wedding reception and dinner was "-Ted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Swensen. There were about twelve young couple who were present pres-ent and enjoyed the evening's pleasures. |
