Show TREE INSPECTION. Hans Brown the County Horticulture Horti-culture Insp ctor has been making a through investigation of the condition con-dition of the fruit treesin the county He finds that some of the trees are in a very healthly condition while others are very mucn in need of spraying, Mr. Brown advises the use of lime and sulph er in the fol lowing proporations: fifteen pounds ofsulpher. twenty pounds of fresh lime and forty five gallons of water foi a winter spray. If lime is no obtainable, black leaf may be used in stead- one gal. of black leaf to seventy of water. Mr. Brown is in hopes that the people will pay more attention to the spraying of their trees and clear ing the orchards from insects so that people in this locality shall reap a bet ter and more profitable hardest. , , i |
