Show Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sorenson were host and hostess at a splendid dinner party at their home Thursday Thurs-day evening, in honor of the twenty second birthday of Mrs. Royal Peterson Pet-erson of Ephraim. Mrs. Peterson was the guest'or honor. Following the dinner the evening was delightfully delight-fully spent in music, both vocal and instrumental and in a general social way. Those present were: Messrs and Mesdames E. H. Ericksen, Andrew An-drew Larsen, H. E. Ericksen, Andrew An-drew Jensen, Gilbert Beckstrom, Orange Aid rich, Peter Swensen, Mrs. Hans Poulsen, Mrs Pauline Peterson, Peter-son, Messrs Cleon Poulsen, Austin Monsen, Paul Monsen, Alvin Jensen, and the Misses Tressa Larsen, Mag nola Larsen, Myrtle Johnson, Fannie Monsen, Gertrude Knudsen, and the host and hosiess. Mrs. Peter Swensen entertained informally at an afternoon luncheon at her home Monday afternoon, in compiimeni to Mrs. Royal Peterson. Covers were laid lur eight. Miss Florence Monsen was hosiess fur the regular O N. 0. Ki-nsingion ai her home Thursday evening. Seeing, See-ing, music and dainty refreshments were enjoyed. Eimira Barton entertained a num ber or ner mends at a birihday pai-ty pai-ty at her home Sunday afternoon. Games, music and luncheon were provided for the entertainment. The advanced grades of the Re ligion classes enjoyed a pleasant skating pariy at the Armory, Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Eloese, Bernita and Helen Hansen Han-sen were hostesses at a jolly skating party at the Armory Friday afternoon. after-noon. Invitations were issued to about forty of their little friends, and all present spent an unusually pleasant afternoon on the rollers. Goldie Neilson entertained the Lucky Four girls at her home Tuesday Tues-day evening. Sewing and dainty refreshments were served. The girls are Katie Ericksen, Goldie Neilson, Mildred Ericksen and Gladys Ericksen. Erick-sen. The Officers and Teachers of the North Ward Sunday School and Mutual Improvement Association gave a party Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Nielson, in honor of their son Arthur, who just recently returned home from a foreign mission to Sweden. Brother Nielson entertained his fellow associates asso-ciates with numerous souvenirs and things which he brought from'Swe den. The evening was spent in a very pleasant social way. ' Short talks were made by Bro. Nielson and Pres. C. N. Lund. Games were played play-ed and music and-songs were rendered render-ed by the young folks. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served to about twenty-five people who were present. |
