Show J FairvieTV jj Mrs. Johawia Ottensen return ed last week from California where she has been visiting for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Holman have returned from Garfield they spent the past year. Mrs. Hortense Brady is in the L. D. S. Hospital where she was operated upon for appendicitis Feb. 1st Larue Mower, thirteen year old daughter of William Mower, went to Sali Lake City Feb. 4th ndicitis operat- aiov aw. --- fir otion. There have been such a large number of cases here the past year that people are be-j be-j ginning to wonder if it is con- tageous. Three bobsleigh loads of Relief Society officers and members went co the home of Jacob Bushman jr. who has lately returned from the L. D. S. Hospital. They cheered him with lively songs and speeches. They also visited the home of Mrs. Henry Mills who has been sick the past three months. The Relief Society will celebrate their Annual Day Saturday, Feb. 7, in the following manner: Meeting in the L. D. S. Chapel at 10 o'clock, dinner will be served in the Pavilion an excellent program will be carried out in each place. The celebration will be close with a grand ballat night, in which the ladies purchase the tickets. Fairview is to have a bank. Those interested in the bank movement met yesterday afternoon in the City Hall to hear the report of the com mitee. They hadthe full amount of the capital stock subscribed $25,000J Organized with Andrew Lasson as president; A. R. Anderson, vice president; J. C. Cutler, Ole Lasson, Peter Sundwall, directors and the last named as Cashier. They expect to be ready to do business by the first of March. |
