Show Miss Florence Holbrook entertained enter-tained with a house party at the Holbrook summer cattage in Spring-dell, Provo canyon, during the week, complimentary complimenta-ry to Miss Stella Olsen of . Mt. Pleasant. Miss Olsen was also the honored guest at a delightfully delight-fully informal affair given at the home of Miss Merline Roy-lance Roy-lance the fore part of week, the guests being Miss Merl Bonnet, Edith Dusenbury, Leona Wilson of Ogden and Elfie Bean. Post Miss Stella Jensen entertained entertain-ed at a Kensington Friday afternoon in honor of Florence Tuft who left for Kansas City, Missouri early in the week. Those present were Florence Tuft, Virginia Gilbert, Venetta Monson, Lurean Whitlock of Enhraim. Vern Seelv. Aften Jensen, Lola Tuft, Virginia Gid ney of Brigham city and the hostess, Light refreshments were served. Miss Frances Jensen entertained entertain-ed some of her girl friends at a Kensington Friday afternoon, at her charming -home. There were twelve in number who were seated at luncheon and All enjoyed the program which was carried out in music, songs and games etc. A number of small tables were arranged for the guests while at their sewing and the room was decorated in pink Sweet Peas. James V. Larsen, who returned last week from a two years mission in Norway for the L. D. S. church, was tendered a very pleasant surprise sur-prise party at the home of his mother moth-er Monday evening. The officers of the Young Men's and Young Ladies associations were responsible for the affair, which was a very pleasant one. Social conversation, music and delicious refreshments were the order ord-er of the evening. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. A. Merz'Maur-itz Merz'Maur-itz Peterson, Messrs Wilford and James Larsen, Joseph Schfield, Emil Rutishauser, Vance Mcintosh, John Cliff, Mr. A. L. Larsen, Mrs. Geo. Larsen, Mrs. Christena Larsen, and the Misses Marian and Ida Larsen, Florence Ericksen, Carol Rasmussen, Tresa Larsen, Florence Monsen, Cassie Rasmussen, Stella Mcintosh, and Minnie Christensen. Berneta Hansen entertained a number of her little friends at an afternoon tea at the home of her I parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Hansen, Friday afternoon. The party was in honor of little Miss Mildred Hansen of Richfield. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by the following guests: Mildred Hansen, Eloese Hansen, Elmira Barton, Boyd Mad-sen, Mad-sen, Willie Barton, Bernice Madsen, Helen Hansen, Ray Hansen, James Jacobs, Alice Hansen and Dorothy Jacobs. |
