Show Lieut. Pearsons conducted an examination of the militia officers of-ficers from Mount Pleasant, Ephraim and Manti last Sunday at Ephraim. The examination was a severe one and took the best part of the day to get through with the work done. L. P. Anderson, Plant Foreman Fore-man of the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Company Com-pany at Nephi, has been transferred trans-ferred to Mount Pleasant to take the place of Mr. B. F. Lov-ell, Lov-ell, the local manager of the j company in north Sanpete. Mr. Anderson has been in the employ em-ploy of the company for about six years, one of which was spent at Payson and the last five were spent at Nephi. We carry a full stock of Bain, Cooper, Coop-er, John Deere, Weber and Davenport Daven-port roller bearing wagons at Con. Wagon & Machine Co. Thomas West was in Spring-ville Spring-ville this week to attend a board meeting of the Eva Mining Min-ing Company of the Nebo Mining Min-ing District. Mr. West is well pleased with the progress of thg work being done at the mine and has great hopes for the future of the mine. Miss Af ton Jensen and Miss Florence Tuft left Sunday for Salt Lake City to enjoy themselves them-selves in the attractions of the city. They will also go to Garfield Gar-field and visit with friends and Miss Tuft will probably go to Kansas City to visit with her sister befor returning. |
