Show FAIRVIEW Some cases of chicken pox are reported re-ported in town at the present time. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tanner have returned to Fairview for the winter. Mrs. Willard Vance gave a birthday birth-day party to about 25 of her immediate imme-diate relatives and friends Tuesday, November Oth. Owing to the sudden cold spell we are having, quite a number of bad colds which have caused the owners thereof to remain inside and some in jbed, have been reported. The little four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rigby died Tuesday morning about 11 o'clock. He had been suffering from Pneumonia only four days when the end came. ! .las. 1). Meyrick returned from Sal! I. alio City yesterday after a short visit with his daughter Venella. wh.-i is attending the Westminister college. col-lege. I Mr. and Mrs. .lames Anderson, Sr.. returned Sunday from Mapletou where they went Friday to attend the wedding of their grand-daughter, Lillie Hurst. Mrs. Lester Miner and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan us Howell also attended the wedding reception, returning re-turning to Fairview on Tuesday. The Sunset Club were entertained Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Mailsen by I heir daughter Randa. A chicken supper was enjoyed after which there were games and music. The following follow-ing girls wore present: Chrteta Brm- j dy, Vena Terry, Madaliu Mower. Alice Al-ice Tucker, May Mills, Pearl Peterson, Peter-son, Eessie Spence and the hostess. I |
