Mrs. Hans Neilson is spending ei few days at Mammoth with her ; daughter, Mrs. Loyd Clawson. Nathaniel Billington departed fofr Eureka Wednesday expecting to be gone indefinitely. Election day pased off very quietly in Spring City, the Democrats leading ' on the whole ticket. j Mrs. Eudora Larsen returned to her home in Annabella the fore part of the week after several weeks spent here. Ralph Ellis who has been at home , for a short time visiting with relatives rela-tives departed Wednesday for Iosepa where he has employment. Messrs Hurst and Bird have been here this week selling stock in the ' new sugar factory to be erected next year between Chester and Moroni. Six young men from Chester departed de-parted for Spanish Fork Sunday where they go to work in the sugar industry. Mrs. A. L. Young of Iosepa, Utah, who has been in Chester visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloward, returned to her home Monday. Mrs. Enevold Anderson of American Ameri-can Fork was a Chester visitor the fore part of the week, returning to her home Wednesday. Mr. Barney Hyde, who has been with the Utah boys on the Mexican boundary returned home Sunday, his enlistment having expired. Mr. Hyde is looking well and says the boys are well treated. The Alethea Club held their last meeting at the home of Mrs. D. W. Clarks. The time was spent in reorganizing reor-ganizing and electing new officers for the ensuing year. Mrs. Sarah Hyde entertained at an elaborate dinner party Sunday afternoon af-ternoon in honor of her son, Barney, who returned that day from the Mexican Mex-ican Border. Tuesday afternoon Miss Eva Jus-tesen Jus-tesen entertained some of her little friends at her home in honor of her sixth birthday. Music, games am! a dainty luncheon were enjoyed by the little folks.
