Show i Musicale Saturday Night By High Schc ol Orchestra The advanced orchestra of the North Sanpete High School of this city is to make its first public appearance appear-ance for the year in a musicale which it is to give at the L. D. S. South Ward Chapel Sunday evening, Dec. 7th, The evening's enteriainment is free to all and an urgent invitation to the public to be present is extended. extend-ed. . . This year's orchestra is one of the best musical organizations the High School has had. It is capable of rendering ren-dering difficult and high grade music in a manner that would reflect credit upon an organization of professional musicians. This insures a program of exceptional merit Sunday evening and a genuine musical treat to those who can be present. In addition to the numbers to be rendered by the full orchestra, several sev-eral special selections are on the program. These include a trombone solo with orchestral accompaniment j by Legrande Jenkins; a violin trio by the Misses Muriel Simpson, Belva Jenkins, Eva Simpson, Arcilee Burnett, Bur-nett, piano; a cornet quartett bv Blanche Jenkins, Faireld Lar'sen, Legrande Le-grande Jenkins and Mr. Boyden. Clyde Cheney, trap drummer is the one member of the orchestra not mentioned. Besides the music, Miss lone Mc-Artuur Mc-Artuur will give one of her best recitations and Miss Thurman will give a reading. Several short addresses ad-dresses will be made during the evening. |
