The Fairview ward now owns all the amusement halls of the city, with the exception of the moving picture show. The stage has been torn out of the Eclipse Pavilion, and the whole floor space arranged for dancing covering cover-ing an area of four thousand square feet. A spectator and orchestra bal-conv bal-conv has been built in the west end, which will accomodate the orchestra and about fifty spectators. Cloak and dressing rooms are being arranged. ar-ranged. The pavilion is to be repainted re-painted and given a very attractive appearance making it a very pleasant pleas-ant place for dancing and basket ball games. The old meeting house is being re modeled and arranged for an opera house with a large stage and commodious com-modious dressing rooms. James A, Larsen and Delora Howell How-ell were married Wednesday the 26 of Nov. in the Salt Lake Temple. They are receiving congratulations from their many triends. Lewis Mills of Fairview and Miss Mary Spence of Mammoth were married mar-ried in Manti, Dec. 3rd. They expect to make their home at Mammoth at present. Mrs. Emma Herrick of Salt Lake City is here visiting with parents and friends and expects to spend the winter in Fairview. Mrs. Geo. Mower, Jr. and children went to Centerville last week, where she expects to remain for the winter. ' Mrs. Jesse Turpin is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Bohne, at Garfield. Mrs. Maggie Sanderson, Mrs. J. H. Sanderon, Mrs. Delia Tucker, and Mrs. Stella Stewart visited in Sevier county last week. Miss Cleo Olsen and Miss Isabeile Hogan visited schools last week at Provo and Salt Lake City. They spent Thanksgiving at the latter place. Mrs. Steve Kimber is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Jack Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Anderson, Mrs. Leo Peacock of Sterling were the guesu of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peacock for Thanksgiving. Mr. Whitbeck, M-s. Peacock's father also spent Thanks giving with them and expect to remain re-main with them some time. Born-to the wife of Hyrum Mow er. a boy, Nov. 28th.
