Show FAIRVIEW Born to the wife of Harvey Miner, July 5th, a girl. Mrs. Annie Vanoy of Salt Lake City is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mary C. Tucker and other relatives. Mrs. Ada Sidwell 'of Manti is a guest at the home of her brother, Walter Cox, and is visiting relatives. Matthais Wahlin of Schofield spent Saturday and Sunday at Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Thayne of Wellington were guests at the home of C. P. Olsen the past week. They are looking look-ing for a location here. ; Mrs. S. W. Enichs of Missouri spent the past three weeks visiting with her sister, Mrs. Ivan Burns. Mr. and Mrs. A. Ira Cox who spent .he past month visiting in Idaho returned re-turned home last week. George Olsen of It iii vie-.v and Mist. Leola Ellitson of Mona were married in the Manti Temple July 14th. Their many friends wish them success on their journey through life. Joseph Day went to Salt Lake and spent Sunday, July 11 as one of the guards of the Liberty Bell exhibited there. Christian Olsen, an aged and respected re-spected citizen of Fairview, died July 7th. Funeral services were held July 9th at the L. D. S. meeting house. Christian Peterson, James Anderson, Samuel Bills and Bishop H. P. Hansen Han-sen were the speakers. All spoke well of his life. Music was furnished by the ward choir. Mrs. Eli A. Day, Ir. and Miss Mamie Madsen sang a duet. Mr. Olsen was seventy-four years old, and leaves a wife and three sons, C. P. Olsen, H. S. Olsen and George Olsen. Dr. John R. Anderson and family went to Murray last week, where Dr. Anderson will take care of Dr. Roth-well's Roth-well's practice while he attends the rair at Calilornia. Dr. Anderson will locate at Afton, Wyoming soon. 1-- |
