I'iea.-ant and l'eter Teterson of fail view were the speakers, who offered consoling remarks to the bereaved be-reaved parents and relatives. The remains were taken to Mt. Pleasant for burial. The Ladies Literary club met at the home of Mrs. I. J. Frampton May 22nd., after an hour scent in needle- work, an interesting meeting was held. An excellent pro gram will be given after which refreshments re-freshments will be served, free to all, in the basement of the building. For some time Fairview Livery has besn in need of an automobile. ; but Mr. Garlic did not wish to pur-1 chase one as he desired to sell out, so the merchants got behind Mr. Norman and urged him to buy, promising him their support. Mr. ' Norman followed the suggestions of ; the merchants. The traveling men ; had been accustomed to sending for ; Ephraim cars to meet them at Fair-view Fair-view and escort them through the county; but after Fairview was equipped to give them first class ser. vice, they were asked to give our I auto livery some of their support, : i part of them did;"but last Monday a i bunch of them landed in Fairview, j and phoned for the Ephraim car as ; usual, and not as usual rod? out of Fuirview, wiser men, but, minis any orders or business.
