Show Mrs. D. L. Argyle of Salina is visiting at the home of her parents, I Mr. and Mrs. James Staker, having been called here on account of the death of her brother Fred's little son. McGann of Salt Lake City came down last Sunday Sun-day morning in their automobile to visit with Mr. and Mrs. John II. Seely. Erick Gunderson returned home from Helper last Tuesday. He has been over in that part of the state working with his brother, Lars Gnnderson. James A. Armstrong was a business busi-ness visitor in Mt. Pleasant on Tues day. Anthon Lund, who has been attending at-tending school at the Snow Academy this year came home last Tuesday. He will be here during the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Larsen announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter daugh-ter Tressa to Harry G. Ericksen to take place on Wednesday, June Fourth. They will be at home to their friends after June sixth at Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Ray Beaumann of Salt Lake City is here visiting with friends and relatives. She is guest of Mr. and Mrs. George Clemensen. M. H. Lundberg went to Salt Lake City last Tuesday to learn more about the automobile business. He will be absent from our city for some time. M. V. Samuels of the Lyman and Samuels firm of Salt Lake City was in Mt. Pleasant on Monday and Tuesday Tues-day overseeing the work that is being be-ing done at the mouth of Pleasant Creek canyon in the construction of the electric light and power plant. Mr. Samuels says that the construc tion work is progressing very nicely and states that everything will be in readiness as fast as the machinery can be shipped. Mrs. Eli B. Kelsey of Salt Lake City is here in Mt. Pleasant visiting with relatives. She is guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Clemensen. Clem-ensen. She came to Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant on account of the illness of her mother, Mrs. Clemensen.' Clarence Powell and Carl Sumpter of Sunnyside are spending a vacation vaca-tion and visiting with friends and relatives in Mt. Pleasant. They will remain indefinitely. Mr, R. A. Coats, formerfy with S. A. Asquith &Bro., Wholesale and Retail Jewelers of Waterloo, Iowa, arrived with Mrs. Coats Tuesday. Mr. Coats is a "first class watchmaker, watchmak-er, engraver and manufacturing jeweler. He will solicit engraving from all other stores in the valley, Word is received that Alvin L. Romero Ro-mero formerly of this citv, but now of Soda Springs, Idaho, was married 1 to Miss Pearl E.
