Show "See America First" Slog n of Convention Boise, Idaho, May 29th. For the purpose of arousing national inter est in the many points in scenic Kranduer which may be reached by auto throughout the intermouhti i, region, the "See America First" idea will be exploited in corim-ction witl the good roads convention whici. meets at Boise, June 10, 11 and 12th. A determined effort is being made by the Intermountain Good Roads Association under whose auspices the convention will be held, to have the delegates from the states of Montana, Mon-tana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Idaho, journey to the gathering by automobile. It is thought a concerted movement move-ment on the part of the intermoun ta.n good roads enthusiasts in con nection with the proposed interstate tours and the convention will ha e a stimulating: effect on the agitation in favor of better roads and more of them. The tours, it is believed, will result in a speedier solution of tht question of co-relating state high way systems joining the capital cit ies of the various inteinijuntaii states. The officials of the convention al so believe that the advertising received re-ceived through such tours wdl cal the attention of motor tourists o. the country to the accessibility oi many of the greatest scenic vvoiuers of the continent. A map showing the most feasible auto routes from each of the six states tj the convention conven-tion city will be distributed to the delegates. Miss Thea Rasmussen has returned home and will spend the summer in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Lasson returned re-turned home frrm Salt Lake City last Monday. Verge Johnson returned home this week. He has been teaching at Ewell during thp past season. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Snow, Miss Fransel Snow and Eugene Snow came up from Sterling Sunday and are guests at the home of their brother, VVm. Snow, in this city. Niels G. Peterson handed us $4.50 in payment on his subscription ore day last week. This pays for his paper in advance until Sept. 15, 1914. You may well imagine what we think of Mr. Peterson. He is Helping us to progress and keep the local paper up to the high standard it should maintain in the community. communi-ty.
