Show HANDS BURNING, ITCHING 905 Lowell Place, Chicago, 111. "The trouble began by my hands burning burn-ing and itching and I rubbed and scratched them till one day I saw little lit-tle red sores coming out. My hands were disfigured and swollen, and troubled trou-bled me so that I could not sleep. They were cracked and when the small sores broke a white matter woi.ld come out. I could not do any hard work; if I did the sores would come out worse. For two years nobody no-body could cure my eczema, until one day I thought I would try the Cuticura Soap and Ointment. I used warm water wa-ter with the Cuticura Soap and after that I put the Cuticura Ointment on my hands twice a day for about five or six months when I was cured." (Signed) Sam Marcus, Nov. 2S, 1911. THAT INFANTS are peculiarly susceptible to opium and Ita various preparations, all of which are nurcotic, is well known. Even in the smallest doses, if continued, these opiatea cause changes in the functions func-tions and growth of the cells which are likely to become permanent, causing imbecility, mental perversion, a craving for alcohol or narcotics in. later life. Nervous diseases, such as intractablo nervous dyspepsia and lack of staying powers are a result of dosing with opiates or narcotics to keep children quiet in their infancy. The rule among physicians is that children should never receive opiates in the smallest doses for more than a day at a time, and only then if unavoidable. The administration of Anodynes, Drops, Cordials, Soothing Syrups and other narcotics to children by any but a physician cannot be too strongly decried, and the druggist Bhould not be a party to it. Children who are ill need the attention of a physician, and it ia nothing leas than a crime to dose them willfully with narcotics. Castoria contains no narcotics if it bears the -signature of Chas.
