Show Miss Ruth Becker of Manti was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jensen this week. Wayne Nielsen of the Pyramid is spending the week at Pleasant Grove visiting with his friends and relatives. rela-tives. , Erick Waldomar left this week for Wyoming where he will visit for several sev-eral weeks with his brother. The special missionaries, singers and musicians will visit the wards in the Stake next Sunday afternoon and will continue during the month of August. Meetings at 2 p. m. Judge E. D. Sorensen and Miss Anna Parry who were married recently re-cently and took a trip to the coast to see the great fair, are now home to their friends at Manti. I E. J. Jones and Orsen Hyde of the Mountain States Telephone & Telc- ph Company are in Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant in the interest of the company. They will endeavor to get another franchise from the city, and if satisfactory satis-factory business relations can be secured se-cured they will improve the local plant, making it modern throughout. Maggie Peterson, Floss Staker, Ly-dia Ly-dia Matson, Irel Reynolds, Iteva Sco-vil Sco-vil and Vienna Brandon, the Locust Swarm of the North Ward Went to Fiddlers Green Friday evening and had a very enjoyable time. They prepared a bed on the ground and camped for the night. Saturday the girls spent an enjoyable time cooking cook-ing their meals on a camp fire, taking tak-ing pictures and dancing. Some of the girls took a dip in the water. They returned Sal unlay evening. |
