Mrs. George Ryland and children returned yesterday to their home at Price after a short visit with her mother and relatives in this city. Mrs. Ross Steele is here form Vevada where she has been for a 'ew months with her husband. She will remain here during the winter. Mrs. Win. E. Watson has returned home from Ogden where she has been taking treatment for rheumatism rheuma-tism for several months. She has improved since her absence from Mount Pleasant. A special program will be given at he South Ward Chapel next Sunday Afternoon. C. P. Olsen and Dr. Edmunds will be the speakers in addition to some hoice musical numbers. Mrs. Chas. Musig returned home Wednesday from St. George and the Southern part of the state. She had very pleasant time while there during dur-ing the past two months with her husband who is working in the south. James A. Burton and Miss Evelyn C. Madsen, both of Mount Pleasant, were married Wednesday evening at '.he home of the bride's parents in his city. Bishop H. C .Jacobs offici-iting offici-iting in the ceremony. A very fine wedding dinner was served to about twenty-five people. Only near relatives rela-tives anv members of the immediate families were present. Mrs. James Larsen conducted the lesson an Canada and Mrs. Fannie Miles gave a very interesting lecture on the early French and English history of Canada. Mrs. H. C. Jacobs gave the Current Events and the hostess I seryed refreshments to the guests. |
