Show FUNERAL SERVICES IIEL1) FOR JORGEN C. CHRISTENSEN Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day aftornoon at the South Ward Chapel for Jorgen C. Christensen who died at his home in this city Nov. 6 at 4:40 p. m. after a long illness of ulcer of the stomach, Bishop A. E. Mcintosh presiding. Members of tho choir furnished sacred music during the services. Bishop Larsen and Pres. C. N. Lund were the speakers. There waa a large attendance at tho funeral and many llowers were given by friends of the departed. Mr. Christensen was born at East Ailing, Randers, Denmark, June 11, 1842. Ho married Maren Christensen Christen-sen in 18 70. He became, a member of tho Mormon Church July 31, 1880 and came to Utah in 1893. Six children chil-dren preceded him to the grave and seven are still living. They are Mr.". Peter Peterson of Mill Creek, Salt Lake County; C. B. Christensen of Moroni; Mrs. Andrew Jeueen of Preston, Pres-ton, Nevada; George M. Christensen, Charles ChristenBen and George J. ChriBtensen of Mount Pleasant. |
