Miss Kate Christiansen entertained entertain-ed the Fay King girls Tuesday evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Dorius, Miss Rees and Miss Midgley were Wales visitors visit-ors Saturday. A. H. Anderson left Friday for the desert to look after his interests in the sheep business there. Mrs. Hannah Collard who has been confined to her bed for some time is reported to be improving. The Y. L. M. I. A. gave a measuring measur-ing party in the Meeting house Thursday evening. Lunch was served. serv-ed. The Y. L. M. I. A. junior girls entertained en-tertained the senior girls at a party Wednesday evening in the meeting house. Niels Hansen was pleasantly surprised sur-prised at his home, at the niiil, Thursday. The occasion being his 5Sth birthday. Will Ray Jensen was surprised by a number of his friends Monday evening. eve-ning. The evening was spent in games, etc. Luncheon was served. The Relief Society will give a party par-ty at. the pavilion Friday evening. A program, dancing and lunch will be the features of the evenings enter-tinnient. enter-tinnient. Mrs. Mary Oldroyd entertained at a quilting party at the home of her son, John Oldroyd, Tuesday. A pleasant and profitable day was spent. William Hudson of Payson and Miss Harriet Coombs were married in the Salt Lake City temple -Thursday. Miss Coombs was one of Fountain Foun-tain Green's most popular young ladies la-dies and her friends wish her happiness happi-ness and success. Saturday afternoon Mrs. W. P. Al-Ired Al-Ired entertained at a dinner parly, at her home in honor of her mother, Mrs. Christina Larsen, of Mount Pleasant. Thore present were: Mrs. Jackson, Caroline Allred. Mrs. Carter, Car-ter, Mary Oldroyd, Mrs. Olr.cn, Marie Lund. Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Uermansen, Mrs. Larson, Mrs. I'.artensen, Mrs. Guyman, Mrs. .Tewkes, Mrs. Ostler, and Christina Larsen. All the guests were widows, the oldest being Mrs. Larsen of Mount Pleasant, who is1 84 years of age, the youngest was Mrs. Ostler, 66years. All were taken from their homes to the party and back a0ain n sleighs. Dinner was served and an enjoyable afternoon spent by all. |
