Hyrum Anderson of Salina has been here vigil ing- with his sister, Mrs. Stena Allred. . I Mrs. Margaret Peterson is spend-' ing a few days visiting with relatives and friends in Fail view. Lawrence Clark of Cedar City is visiting here with his mother-in-law Mrs. Joseph Griffiths. Chas. Rasmussen is a business, visitor vis-itor in Salt Lake and Bingham this weok. j Ervin Allred has been here visiting a few days with his parents Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Allred. Miss Lola Madsen is visiting with her sister, Mrs. J. A. Johnson in Manti this week. Nelson W. Aldrich is spending a week in Salt Lake, visiting with his uncle Amasa Aldrich. ..Mrs. J. M. Aldrich is spending a couple of days visiting her sister, Mrs. D. W. Larsen of Annabella. Jas. Peterson departed for Price Wednesday. Mr. Peterson will probably prob-ably be gone several months. Gardner Schofield departed for Rupert Idaho Saturday. He has good employment there and will pro bably remain for several months. . Horace Larson has returned from Castle Gate after having spent most of the winter there working for the Utah Fuel Co. The Pyramid was one day late in reaching Spring City last week on account ac-count of being sent to Chester, in error, er-ror, by the mail clerk. Issac Nelsen of Wales has been awarded the contract for carrying the U. S. mail between tne Spring City Depot, Chester and Wales, effective ef-fective July 1st, 1914. Warren Allred came in from the east desert to spend a few days with his family here, returning to Price Wednesday. He reports conditions as not being the best as there is too much snow and very little feed. Wilford Schofield, Bryant Larson, Harold Mortensen, Lyman Christen-sen Christen-sen and E. Edmunds departed for the west desert Wednesday expecting to enter the employ of the D. L. S. Co. Sunday evening Lenord Sorensen was tendered a birthday party by a number of his young friends at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Sorensen, dainty refresments were served and various games constituted con-stituted the evening's entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Johnson entertained en-tertained the Faculty and teachers of the Public School Saturday evening. eve-ning. The rooms were neatly decorated de-corated with red and white carnations. carna-tions. A full course dinner was served ser-ved and the evening was pleasantly spent in music, games and social con versation. The invited guests were Messrs and Mesdames, J. P. Johnson J. S. Blain, J. W.
