Show Illl NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS There are two much needed improvements, which if the City Administration could see its way clear to make, would be much appreciated by the gen-ral gen-ral public, one for the benefit if man,. and another in the in-erest in-erest of animals. The first is placing of an up-'.o-date sanitary drinking foun-ain foun-ain at, or near the B. G. depot cor the benefit of the traveling mblic. Often trains are late, md people must wait, some me for hours, ami it is ATery nconvenient, to say the least, hat a drink of water can not be uiel without going to the creek ir to the house of some of the leighbors. The other is the establishing n some suitable locality, not to 'ar from the business sections if the city, of a watering place 'or animals. Often Ave see teams come to town from distant places (to do business here) anel Avhile the driver can finel places for refreshments, re-freshments, the team must be satisfied by gnawing a tie post, and stciid there in the heat of the sun for hours, famishing for Avater, and Avhen ready to return, there is no place convenient con-venient for watering the poor animals, and they must take the journey back Avithout. The A-ote for a tlry toAvn die: not include Avater. We have a splendid Avater system, let the benefits of it be extended as far as possible. |
