Show "Patronize home industry" is a slogan that looks well in print, sounds well in a public address and is a fine thing if carrried into actual practice, but the man who advises his neighbor to patronize home industry, in-dustry, then buys practically all of his needs in some other town or city, is setting a mighty migh-ty poor example and falls far short, of being a good citizen. The home printer, the home furniture dealers, the home clothing merchant, all have their eyes on the citizen who advises his neighbors to patronize patro-nize home industry, but spends his own money elsewhere. And w ho can blame them? We are dependant upon one another, and if our town is to be made the best town everyone must do his part toward patronizing home industry and keeping at home the money needed for town and community development. develop-ment. cm |
