Show N. S. Xeilson has just purchased a fine new $3,000 Packard, seven passenger pas-senger automobile. The big car has twelve cylinders and glides over the -oad like a Pullman. Sunday evening, June 11, at the old Presbyterian church. Children's Day exercises will be given by the Presbyterian Sunday School. All are Invited. Mrs. Myron F. Lewis of Hotchkiss, Colo, paid her daughter who is assistant as-sistant principal at Wasatch Academy a surprise visit Friday, June 2. She will remain for a few days before contir.'Uing her journey. The music students of Miss Mabel Borg were heard in recitals this week. The advanced students were heard Thursday evening and the junior students were heard Friday afternoon, both at the High School building. They were the most successful suc-cessful recitals given this year. Miss Era Farnworth of this city and Gaston Garlic of Faiview who were married in the Manti Temple on Wednesday, May 31. were given a reception Friday evening. Jiune 2, by the Misses Opal Larsen and Fearl Jo-iiansen Jo-iiansen at the home of Peter A. Larson. Lar-son. About forty of Miss Farn-worth's Farn-worth's old school mates and friends were present. An enjoyable time was had by all and many presents were received by the young couple. |
