Show COMIVIERCIAL ORCHARDS HERE ARE WELL KEPI J. C. Snow, Coun-y Horticultural Inspector, has been in Mt. Pleasant and vicinity for several days this week looking over the orchards and trees in this section. He reports thus: "Commercial Orchards of Mount Pleasant are very well kept, such as Mr. Jens Gunderscn's, which is just coming into bearing. Thoy have been well cared for up to the present time. There is only one way in which to do anything, that is the right way. It does not pay to plant an orchard and then use it for a sheep range. The fruit is looking well. It is a most promising year; everything is loaded with fruit. Let us get in and do a good job this year and raise fruit instead of worms. I find Mount Pleasant lacking in need a power of 15t lbs. pressure, such as Myres No. 2 O K Sprayer with bamboo rod and Bordeaux Nozzle. Noz-zle. Try it for results." io-. |
