Rigby, chairman of the Sanpete county commission. All of the communities at the meeting with the exception of Moroni receive power from - municipal systems. Moroni if i furnished power by Big Spring; I! Power company, a subsidiary oi Telluride Power company. Several proposals were advanced ad-vanced at the meeting.- The one which received most favorable reception advocated the establishment estab-lishment of a steam plant which IS would supply power to all communities com-munities in the county and to be owned by those communities' receiving power from it. Cheap coal could be used for the plant from the Fairview canyon ara it was pointed out. A committee, with Mayor S. M Nielson as chairman, was appointed ap-pointed to investigate the feasibility feasi-bility of the steam plant. |
