Show Fairview Fred Gardner Is Beautification Leader Here Fairview's clean-up day was held today with both schoo: children and adults participating. participat-ing. Tonight there will be a free dance in the amusemem hall with music by the Fairview harmonica band and free soda pop for all of the children. Preceding Pre-ceding the dance Margerie Las-son Las-son and Arlene Peterson will play several numbers on then Hawaiian guitars. Maitland Graham is directing his. student m special square dances for the dance also. This campaign is appoved by Mayor Keith Hansen and the City Council and is under the direction of the Beautification Committee with Fred Gardner as chairman and Mrs. LaVerne Jensen, Mrs. Olive Hurst, . Rod-nep Rod-nep Nelson, John C. Burnside, Gerald Nielson and Mrs. Whit-ford Whit-ford Amundsen as secretary and treasurer. The Beautification program is sponsored by the Nonh Sanpete School Board. A meeting is held every Monday night at 8:00 p. m. in the Jr. high school. special speaker is provided b the School Board. Plants, shrubs, trees, pieketc and paint can be obtained at a reduction by attending meet ing or giving your order to Mrs. Amundsen. Monday Mr. Gunderson and Mr. Gardner took pictures of the cemetery and several home., and plan on showing these in films sometime in the near future fu-ture at the meetings.
