Show Mrs. Sarah Fechser Jensen Dies in Salt Lake Hospital Mrs. Sarah Fechser Jensen, 78, 4594 Cherry St., Murray, whose crocheting and quilting have taken county fair prizes for several sev-eral years, died in a Salt Lake hospital Wednesday at 11 p. m. of coronary occlusion with mio-cardial mio-cardial failure. She was born Feb. 8, 1808, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of John and Ida Johnson Fechser. In 1893 she moved to Murray, where she had lived since. In 1881 she was married to Niels II. Jensen in Mt. Pleasant. He died in 1900. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day S.iints, she was an enthusiastic enthusi-astic Relief society worker in Murray Second L D S ward. For several years her handiwork particularly her crocheting had won prizes for her at county fairs. Quilting also was a hobby. hob-by. She is survived by two sons, Fred F. and J. Leo Jensen, both of Murray; the following brothers broth-ers and sisters: Mrs. Josephine Carlston. J. Fred Fechser and Mrs Elizabeth Harrison, all of Salt Lake City; James F. fechser, Moroni, Mo-roni, Sanpete county; Hyrum Fechser, Glendale, Cal.; Mrs. Ella Jensen, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Kozina K. Madsen, Sandy; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. |
