Show Spring City Jottings . . . BYU students Russell Aiken, Connell- Osborne, Delon Covert, Ned Allred, Francis Black and Jack Turner visited home with families over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Allred have returned home from a visit in California with their son Clarence Clar-ence and family. Friends and the family of Mrs. Marsden Allred called at her home Tuesday to extend birthday wishes. Visiting Monday with Mr. and Mrs James .F. Ellis were Bp. and Mrs. Bruce Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Monahan and Mr. and Mrs. Murry Cluff. The three men are the Bishopric of the Baldwin Park ward at California and were en-route en-route home after attending the General Conference at Salt Lake. Mrs. Eva Peterson of Provo is visiting her sisters Mrs. Mary Fineel and Mrs. Hannah Mickel. Twenty three local members of the DUP met Monday afternoon after-noon at the home of Captain Mrs. Bergetta Jensen for the first meeting of the Fall and winter months. Also attending were county officers. Mr. .and Mrs. D. N. Aiken of Las Vegas Nevada and Mrs. Geo Allred are visiting1 this week in Salt Lake. The family and friends of Mrs William Baxter observed her birthday at her home Saturday. x Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neilson and baby of Provo are visitinp Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Osborne. Visiting with their parents Mr. and Mrs. George Allred the past week were Mr. and Mrs Jesse Peterson and son Marti" of Levan and Mr. and Mrs. D. N Aken of Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Shaw of Salt Lake city visited Saturday and Sunday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Delone Carlson. Bp. and Mrs. Reid H. Allred Mrs. Keith Allred were amonp the General Conference visitor? at Salt Lake Sunday. Mrs. Owen Anderson and Mrs. Mildred Peterson members of the Stake Relief Society Presidency and Board attended the Genera1 Relief Society conference the pas1 week. Mr. Anderson and family also attended the conference and joined Mrs. Anderson there. Among those attending the funeral services Tuesday of Brigham Y. Allred were. Mr. and Mrs. Sarah E. Allred, Mrs. Cecil Elmer and Mr. and Mrs. Austin Elmer of Ogden. m w 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Allred had their new baby blessed and named nam-ed at the Sacramental services Sunday.
