Show The Church Corner. . . Easter Sunday School Program At Presb. Church The children's Sunday School classes will present an Easter program of plays, songs and recitations Sunday at 12:15 p. m. in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian Presby-terian Church. The Primary and' Junior Sunday Sun-day School program under . the direction of Mrs. R. Gunn is as follows: chorus, "Hosanna Be ijje Children's Song;" duet 'Onc(T There Was a Garden Fair,", by Booty . and Tammy Madsen; chorus, .' Let Us All With One Accoru'' Bible verses, primary class; sotigs by Norine Gunn and Charlyn By-num; By-num; verses and songs, Nursery class. A playlet by the Junior class entitled "Lo, I Am With You Always" Al-ways" has the following cast: Storyteller, Bobby Madsen; Mary, Jesse Millar; Salome, Tammv Madsen; Mary Magdalene, Magda-lene, Mary Argon; Voice of the Road, Walter Bennett; Voice of the Flowers, Lucille Argon; Bird, Mary Bennett; Voice of the Grass, Denny Tucker; Shepherd, Shep-herd, Richard Bennett. The Nursery class under the leadership of Miss Barbara Poulsen will present the following follow-ing songs: "Our Bunny", "Tea Kettle Song", "Butterfly", "God Is Love", "Praise Him. Praise Him", "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam". "Now the Day Is Over". Special numbers are Lynne Madsen's solo, "Robin. Robin Red Breast", and Sheri - Lynn Thomas's recitation "Who Knows". King Of Kings Film Scheduled For Showing At Presb. Church "The Triumph of Easter" will be the sermon theme at the 11:00 a. m. Easter worship service at the First Presbyterian Church. "The Sacrament of Baptism and reception of : new members will take place in the service," according to Rev: E. Bollinger. The Sunday School children will present an Easter program in the sanctuary at 12:15 p. m. under the direction "of Mrs. Alice Gunn. The Westminster Fellowship Groups will be hosts to the Wasatch student body in the presentation of the famous religious re-ligious film "King of Kings." This film will be shown at 7:30 p. m. in Craighead auditorium. Admission is free. Scout Troop 508 will meet Monday evening in the church basement rooms with Scoutmaster Scoutmas-ter William Burton conducting activities. Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p. m. the Womens Missionary Society So-ciety will convene. Mrs. C. Tomlinson will lead the meditation, medita-tion, and Miss Ruth Hacking will lead the topic, "China Twilight or Dawn?" Mrs. L. Langer and Miss Carol Null are scheduled to be hostesses. Thursday evening the Midweek Mid-week Meditation program will be presented at the manse. Topic Top-ic for study will be Article 12 of the Brief Statement of the Reformed Faith, "The Resurrection Resurrec-tion and Life to come." |
