Show JohnDuthieKellett Dies At Mcroni John Dutliie Kellet, 9, son of O. L. and Isabel Duthie Ke iett, died Thursday at the family home. The child had been an invalid for more than 7 years. He was born in Idaho Fails, Idaho April o, 1935. Surviving are his parents; a brother, Andrew Nay Keett, and a grandmother, Mrs. Joh'i Kellett, an ci Moroni. Ashton oi Salt Lake City was read by iJies. Dermont Madsen, ifter following fol-lowing which Mrs. Ali e Bruno gave a leading, "A Pniyer and Answer," composed by Rey L. Pratt. The speakers stressed most beautifully the life and deals of this most unusually orilliant child, and emphasized also his bright and sunny disposition as well as his great faith, during the seven years of his illness. Splendid Splen-did tributes were paid to his parents par-ents for the wonderful way they had educated him in many ways and for their untiring efforts in striving in every possible way to bring about his recovery to health again. He was a beautiful singer and has thrilled many people with his sweet singing and was in every way a most outstanding little lit-tle boy an example to everyone with his patience and optimism. The "Singing Mothers" of which organization Mrs. Kellett has been conductor since its beginning, begin-ning, rendered 3 numbers, "O My Father," "The Lord's Prayer," and "Sometime We'll Understand," with Mrs. Florence Christensen as conductor and Mrs. Faye Draper Dra-per at the organ. "Dear Little lioy of Mine," was sung by Mrs. Grace Westenschow with . Mrs. Lyda Christensen as accompanist. A Male Quartett, Mack Morley, John K. Guymon, Monte Black-ham Black-ham and Harold Arnoldsen sang, 'Though Deepning Trials." The many beautiful floral offerings of-ferings and the unusually large number of relatives and friends in attendance at the services demonstrated the love and respect re-spect and high esteem in which the family of little Jackie is held in the community, who all extend their heart felt sympathy to them in their sad bereavement. Interment was in the Moroni City cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Bishop B. A. Childs. |
