Lower photo shows two hikers pausing near the summit on the trail. The 34th annual Brigham Young University Timp hike will be held July 14. Hikers will assemble at 4 a. m. at Aspen Grove in the left fork of Provo canyon can-yon at the foot of Timp Trail. The hike, which will begin at 5 a. m. after a short program, will be led by C. J. Hart, professor of physical education at B. Y. U. More than 10,000 people from all parts of the United States and many foreign coutries have made the hike in the 34 years since its beginning. Special guides will accompany hikers to point out beauties of the Alpine scenery. |
