Show J. R. Bagnall Named Stake Pres. Sunday J. Rodley Bagnall, educator, stockman and dairy farmer, .is the new president of the North Sanpete stake. A resident of Mt. Pleasant and formerly first counselor in the presidency, President Bagnall was installed at re-organization ceremonies conducted last Sun-dayd Sun-dayd uring quarterly conference j of the stake conducted at the Mt. Pleasant Copth ward. He succeeds Golden D. Carlston, Fairview, who is moving from the stake. Th.e re-organization services were directed by Elders Joseph F. Merrill and Henry D. Moyle of the Council of the Twelve. - - Sustained also were W. C. Olsen of Mt. Pleasant, and A. J. Anderson of Fairview, as counselors. coun-selors. Reed Lasson of Fair-view Fair-view will remain as stake clerk. Vernile Shelley of Mountain -ville was named to the high council succeeding President Anderson. An-derson. President Bagnall served as representative in the last state Legislature. He is married to Florence Noland and has two children, Joseph Bagnall, a student at University of Utah, and Marilyn Bagnall, a student at North Sanpete high school. |
