Show I SPRING CITY I By Special Correspondence ' Miss Clyde Christensen of this city became Mrs. Lloyd T. Vance at her home here on Sunday, Feb. 3rd. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Ezra Vance of Fair-view. Fair-view. The ceremony was performed by James W. Blain of the North Sanpete Stake Presidency. The bride wore an aqua classic suit with pink and black accessories. acces-sories. The newlyweds were feted at open house Sunday afternoon. The three brothers, Bernard Christensen, Vernal Christensen and Udell Christensen attended her at the ceremony. The young couple are making their home in Salt Lake City at the present time. A wedding dance was enjoyed by many guests, Friday evening in the ward Amusement hall. The dance was in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Jensen of this city, recently married. Mr. Jensen is a veteran of the Pacific area. Among the out of town guests in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jensen of Los Angeles, California, Mr. and Mrs. Wardlow Jensen of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Hermansen of Spanish Fork. Rollo Jensen is the son of Mrs. Mary Jensen. In connection with the City officials, of-ficials, who took city offices in January are the following committeemen, com-mitteemen, Marshal and Street Supervisor, Albert E. Puzey; Line man and Water Superintendent, Curtis Allred; Electric Plant op erator, George Downard; City Physician, Dr. G. B. Madsen; Mrs. Vero Aiken, Mrs. Virgus Osborne; Os-borne; Quarantine Officer, Albert E. Puzey; City Attorney, John S. McAllister. Mrs. James Jensen accompanied accom-panied Mr. and Mrs. C. Julin to their home in Los Angeles, California, Cali-fornia, where she will visit for awhile. v They will visit relatives in Salt Lake City on their way home. Miss Karen McKinney has been a recent visitor in California. Mrs. Denzil Aiken and Mrs. Wilford Bauer gave a shower Saturday evening for their sister, Mrs. Jess Petersen at the home of Mrs. George Allred. The North Sanpete stake Primary Pri-mary officers held their monthly meeting Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Vurleen Osborne. She was assisted by her daughter, Miss Elverna Carl-- SMr, and Mrs. Denzil Aiken 'returned 're-turned home Monday to Las Vegas, Nevada. They were accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and Mrs Geo. Allred, parents of Mrs. Aiken, who will, visit them. Mr and Mrs. Wilford Bauer and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Petersen of Pleasant Grove, also visitors at the Allred home, returned home Sunday. Russell Aiken spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday visiting friends and relatives m Ogden, Salt Lake City and Provo. He visited Glade A. Peterson, young flier, who was lost and found in Ephraim moutains in December. Young Peterson has been moved from the L D S hospital to the home of his sister, Mrs. Elcie Heath. He is in good spirits and intends to fly a plane again, and ride his motorcycle. Mr. and Mrs. Gardell Osborne of Fairview visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Osman Osborne. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Stubbs and children of Provo visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beck. L. W.
